SPORT IN PROMOTING A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE

Friendly football match between clubs "Moravac" in G.Međurovo and the football club "Mladost"-Medoševac was held last weekend at the football field in the Gornje Medjurovo. Džunić Boban, President of Municipality of Palilula played with talented football players of both teams, because he, until recently actively and successfully coached and played football at FC "Workers", "Železničar", "Jastrebac", "Sloga" ("Constantine"). Sports gathering of two players of the clubs was a real promotion of the sport and a healthy lifestyle, which is now increasingly understood as a priority, and especially with young people. Playing sports, according to Boban Dzunic, is not reserved only for the elite athlete, it should be adopted as a lifestyle, there should be a need to help and encourage amateur sport and recreation for our citizens. In the projects realized by Municipality of Palilula, which are supported by the European Union under the Neighborhood Programme Bulgaria-Serbia, there are promotions of these objectives in the region. President Džunić talked about the condition of this sports collectives as well as organizing football matches for charity in the actions of the municipality "Let's help our children" with members of the club "Moravac".
